VIA Metro Central Operations - San Antonio, TXProvided design dervices of the 8.25 acre  VIA Metro Superblock complex encompassing an administrative center, vehicle maintenance structure, body shop, and service, wash, and yard maintenance and operations facility to provide additional capacity for projected fleet growth through 2040. Throughout construction, which could take six to ten years, the base will continue its full operations. This unique challenge is being overcome by implementing a series of phased projects that increase the vehicle parking, fuel and wash, and maintenance capacity of the existing base while also bringing the facility up to contemporary safety and operational standards. 


As the Job Captain for DAI I developed complex facility design project work at all phases from programming, site concept, feasibility or schematic design through the preparation of construction documentation  and closeout administration and punch walk review with AOR/EOR/GC. Produced renders for marketing packages, and developed presentations for commitee review boards throughout design development. I reviewed drawings for QA/QC.

HMT Engineering Headquarters - New Braunfels, TXThe design adaptively reuses an existing utility building to create a new open office plan that surrounds a screened courtyard.  The entry portal was an important feature that included a seating area, a trellis, flower beds, and screening for maximum views. We designed the interiors and exteriors, utilizing clean, metal awning roofs at the entries and metal screens at the courtyard walls and gates.&#38;nbsp;

15600 San Pedro Offices - San Antonio, TX
CBRE a local development firm needed their 1980‘s era office lobby and meeting spaces updated to a modern aesthetic. Hypergraphics were used on the side of the structure to act as a billboard for the business. DAI added a new entry and matching elevator screen enclosure. The wood and steel along with the concrete tile lend a fresh new identity. I provided the construction drawings, code review, and client presentations.
