A commission of Dr. Mary Mcleod Bethune to honor her new statue in Washington D.C. An Amazing woman who amongst many accomplishments founded the National Council for Negro Women in 1935, advised Franklin D. Roosevelt, and started the Bethune-Cookman University. She experienced witnessing a black rose in Switzerland and wanted to show the world that beauty comes in every color.
